Trading a Forex Capital Management Mini Account gives you access to all of the same tools and information that other account holders have.
- A Mini Account can be opened with just $300, although it is recommended that the minimum investment should be $1000, due to the volatile nature of the foreign exchange marketplace.
- Trades in the Mini Account are made in lots of 10,000 of base currency. There is no maximum trading volume in the Mini Account.
- A Mini Account must maintain $50 in margin for each lot traded (approximately 200:1 leverage). There is no additional charge beyond a fixed $1 rollover fee per lot if the position goes past the rollover cutoff, 5:00 PM Eastern Time.
- An important safety system is imbedded in the Mini Account. If an account falls below $50 per lot, all positions are automatically closed. This provides an emergency stop for those that have not set stop-loss orders to protect losing positions.
